x100: Napoli, Astoria, Queens, NY

W and I hopped aboard the R train to Queens and checked out Napoli. After ordering at the busy counter, we sat in the near-vacant dining room, with pale brick walls and cloth-topped tables someone's grandma covered in plastic. Dean Martin crooned in via iPad and one of the counter servers loudly employed some salty language while we ate our pizza. W & I are salty ourselves, and this made us like them more. Pizza was really good, both my square with thick, spongy crust, and W's slice, with thin crust, crunchy like a cracker. Also mmmmm: the garlic knots.
